The Angel Association is a registered charity whose members are local people who live in the St Peter’s Ward of the London Borough of Islington –  and people who are interested in the area and in what we do. The St Peter’s Ward covers an area roughly bounded by Upper St, Essex Rd and New North Rd. Click here for a map of the ward.

We are interested in all aspects of our environment and in the history of our area. We take a strong interest in local planning issues, green spaces,  traffic, parking,  new buildings and the preservation of the best of the old ones.

We organise walks and talks on aspects of our local history, and  other social events for members .

The Angel Association is registered charity number 287052. It has an executive committee of 10 people, including its chair, who is elected by vote of the members at the AGM. All the committee are volunteers. The Angel Association is financed by the subscriptions and donations of its members. The annual subscription is currently a suggested £10 per household.
